Then he is dead

As we all now know, Macbeth finally got what what was coming to him. The "invisible" man who couldn't be killed by a man born of a women was killed by Macduff. After all that he has been through, he doesnt even get to enjoy what he work so hard for. But if anything him dying was doing him a favor. If he continued to live he would have no friends to share his power with. All his acts did was create enemies and eliminate friends. So if someone asked me if it is worth it to do a Macbeth like act, the answer is no. Under any circumstaces it is never worth it to do a Macbeth like act. He betrayed his friends and in the end could even live with himself. To me nothing in the world is worth being hated by my friends and myself.

  1. I completely agree. What is the point of losing everything if you remain sad and alone? The benefits he gained were highly outweighed. Macbeth caused his friends to lose everything and then the same happened to him.

  2. I agree that there's no point in living if your utterly alone due to your own actions. If you have an expenditure in any sense it feels immensely better to reap the rewards with friends and fam.
